Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival – 25% cancellation fee
Cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival – 50% cancellation fee
Cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival – 90% cancellation fee


COVID/ PANDEMIC CANCELLATIONS TERMS AND CONDTIONS
No Cancellation fees 7 days prior to arrival under the following conditions
The Government in the guest's country of origin OR destination country imposes a mandatory quarantine
Guests are prevented from boarding a flight on account of health screening
Guests have contracted COVID-19 prior to arrival OR while in-country and are unable to travel
Bookings may be postponed without penalty to a future date within 12 months from the original arrival date; all
bookings will be honoured at 2020 rates, however, seasonal rates will apply.
No cancellation fees will be applicable under the following conditions
·The Government in the guest's country of origin imposes a travel ban and guests are unable to travel
The Government in the guest's destination country (or transit country) imposes a travel ban and guests are
unable to travel
·International flights are cancelled due to a pandemic and guests are unable to travel
If Shamwari has to close due to Pandemic reasons and is unable to fulfil their obligation.

Groups Cancellation Policies
GROUP POLICY
15.1 Applies to a booking of 10 or more people.
15.2 Minimum stay of 2 nights
15.3 10% non-refundable deposit required 14 days from time of booking.
15.4 Final rooming list required 30 days prior to arrival.
15.5 Please be advised the above terms may not be ceded nor are they negotiable.

16. TOUR SERIES POLICY
16.1 Applies to bookings with multiple rooms and set arrival and departure dates in a 12-month period.
16.2 10% non-refundable deposit required within six months of booking being made.
16.3 50% of total group value must be settled 90 days prior to arrival.
16.4 Full prepayment and final rooming list required 60 days prior to arrival.
16.5 Shamwari may request rooms back at any point should it receive a confirmed booking.
16.6 Agent must release back if it has not been sold at that point.
16.7 10% non-refundable deposit will be required for the rooms immediately should the agent not wish to release the requested rooms.
16.8 Cancellations less than 180 days prior to arrival – 10% of total value per room cancelled.
16.9 Cancellations less than 150 days prior to arrival – 15% of total value per room cancelled.
16.10 Cancellations less than 120 days prior to arrival – 25% of total value per room cancelled.
16.11 Cancellations less than 90 days prior to arrival – 50% of total value per room cancelled.
16.12 Cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival – 90% of total value per room cancelled.
