Camp Hwange is a 18 bedded camp, with 7 chalets plus 1 family room. Each chalet overlooks a permanent waterhole. The thatched chalets are spacious and airy, furnished with stylish simplicity, with en-suite bathroom facilities for your total comfort.

Activities
The chalets have their own large surrounding area at ground level with a complete vista of the waterhole so that in the luxury and privacy of your own space you may observe and truly appreciate the wonder of animals in Africa, in their natural habitat. Wanting to only leave a ‘green footprint’, conservation was the driving force in the construction of Camp Hwange. Solar energy provides all the hot water and power to the camp.
Facilities
Building materials have been chosen to blend in with the surrounding bush. The main area is made up of a spacious lounge and communal dining area where you will savour all our delicious meals. The decor has been handled with taste in an African atmosphere. Camp Hwange’s intimacy and comfort are very much appreciated and the best service is absolutely guaranteed.

5. Accommodation Contract And Payment
If you make a booking through emporium-collection™ reservation system the accommodation contract comes into effect between you and the hotel of your choice. You pay the confirmed price directly to the hotel. Any claims and obligations out of the accommodation contract only exist between you and the hotel chosen by you. emporium-collection™ does not enter into the contract with you about the accommodation. Rates available and any booking made via the emporium-collection™ reservation system can’t be combined with other offers or promotions. Bookings take place according to the best and currently lowest emporium-collection™ day price in each case. This price is submitted directly by the hotel for the arrival date chosen and is shown in the name of the hotel. Available emporium-collection™ last-minute, seasonal, weekend or special prices will be considered automatically during the booking.
If you want to make a booking after your availability search, you will have to fill in personal details about you and your credit card details. The credit card details are required to guarantee your booking, the charges will be made by the hotel. If you are logged in to your account the personal details will be pre-filled. By clicking the button “CONFIRM REGISTRATION". Charged upon arrival” you make a binding offer to book the selected room. Prior to making the booking, i.e. prior to clicking the button, you can identify any errors in the data you have provided directly on the website and correct them by clicking “edit” next to the hotel and room description. FIT Cancellation Policy
BOOKING PROCEDURES AND POLICIES (1 TO 5 GUESTS)
· Reservations made outside of 90 days prior to travel will be held provisionally for a maximum of 14 days from date of reservation unless confirmed status is requested by The Agent. In the case of High Season (April through to end of October) provisional bookings will only be held for a maximum of 7 days from date of reservation.
· Reservations made inside of 60 days prior to arrival will be held provisionally for a maximum of 7 days unless confirmed status is requested by The Agent.
· Reservations made inside of 30 days prior to arrival will be held provisionally for 72 hours unless confirmed status is requested by The Agent.
· Once a booking has been confirmed, the Cancellation Policy shall apply.
· Provisional bookings will be held for periods stipulated above. Thereafter Camp Hwange reservees the right to release any such provisional booking. However, should Camp Hwange, receive a confirmed booking during the stipulated period, you will be informed in writing to confirm your reservation. You will also request a deposit of 20% within 5 working days. The deposit is non-refundable. Failure to do so within 24 hours may result in the booking being cancelled. Should a booking be confirmed and the number of guests and/or rooms be reduced, our standard cancellation fees will apply

· Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification. All reservations made shall become subject to the cancellation policy once the Agent has confirmed a booking in writing
· Should a cancellation be received between 120 and 61 days prior to due arrival date 20% of the contracted rate will be charged.
· Should a cancellation be received between 60 and 31 days prior to due arrival date 50% of the contracted rate will be charged.
· Should a cancellation be received between 30 and 0 days prior to due arrival date 100% of the contracted rate will be charged.
· Please note Should your clients fail to arrive on the due arrival date, start their trip after departure or leave before its completion, no refund will be made.
Groups Cancellation Policies
GROUP BOOKINGS (10-16Guests)
· Please note that we require final numbers for all group bookings 90 days prior to travel. (A group booking is classified as any booking of 10 or more guests). Once confirmation has been received a 20% non-refundable deposit will be required.
· A final rooming list and full payment will be required 45 days prior to arrival.
· Should you cancel within 90 days of your group arrival or once a deposit has been received, we will hold a 20% cancellation fee.
· Kindly note, unless the above terms are met, we reserve the right to automatically release the reservation.
· Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days, at which time the reservation will be released, unless Camp Hwange is otherwise notified by the Agent. A booking will only be confirmed by Camp Hwange on receipt of payment, unless credit facilities are in place.

CHILD POLICY
· Unless booking the whole lodge, we regret that no children under the age of 8 will be accepted at Camp Hwange.
· Children aged 8-12 years will be charged 50% of the adults sharing rate.
· Please note we have no babysitting facilities. As our lodge is in a wildlife area, children should be under supervision of their parents or a guardian at all times.
· There is no family room at Camp Hwange, however, we are able to place a third bed in the room so the child can be with the parents.
· All children aged 8 to 14 should have a parent or guardian sleeping in their room at night.
· At meal times should children continually be disruptive they will be asked to eat separately to other full paying guests.
· Families with children aged 12 and below will be asked to book and pay for a private vehicle .
· The age limit for children on a walking safari is 12 years and above, however, this will be at the discretion of the Pro guide in camp.We do not allow children from one family to join another family on activities should their parents wish to do a different activity

· Reservations made inside of 60 days prior to arrival will be held provisionally for a maximum of 7 days unless confirmed status is requested by The Agent.
· Reservations made inside of 30 days prior to arrival will be held provisionally for 72 hours unless confirmed status is requested by The Agent.
· Once a booking has been confirmed, the Cancellation Policy shall apply.
· Provisional bookings will be held for periods stipulated above. Thereafter Camp Hwange reservees the right to release any such provisional booking. However, should Camp Hwange, receive a confirmed booking during the stipulated period, you will be informed in writing to confirm your reservation. You will also request a deposit of 20% within 5 working days. The deposit is non-refundable. Failure to do so within 24 hours may result in the booking being cancelled. 2. General Use Of The Emporium-Collection™ Websites
On the emporium-collection™ websites you can search for the availability and rates of hotels and rooms of your choice at dates defined by you for a specific number of travelers. emporium-collection™ reserves the right to discontinue its websites at any time.
All information about a hotel and the descriptions of a hotel are based on the hotel's own assessment. All content about a hotel that is displayed on the emporium-collection™ websites is provided to emporium-collection™ by the respective hotel and emporium-collection™ acts as the content provider for the hotel only and is thus not responsible for the content, any omissions or typographical errors referring to a hotel. As far as displayed on the emporium-collection™ websites the internationally used hotel classification into stars offers noncommittal information about the hotel's standard, in consideration of self-assessment by the hotel which was provided by the hotel.
All prices displayed on the emporium-collection™ websites are current, day prices, shown in the name of the individual hotel and are valid for all bookings made via the reservation system of emporium-collection™ as described below in section C. All prices have been provided by the hotel and emporium-collection™ acts as content provider for the hotel only and is thus not responsible for any errors of prices referring to a hotel.
For Germany, prices displayed on the emporium-collection™ websites always include service charges and VAT. For other countries regulations and rules regarding taxes differ. Please note, that a visitor's tax might apply in certain locations. In some countries, a local tax and/or a service charge is levied on the travel price or room rate. The amount of this tax changes all the time and can’t generally be estimated but requires specific information like the exact period of a stay, a number of people staying, etc. to be calculated. Thus any information regarding such taxes is always noncommittal, as long as you do not enter specific travel dates. You can register on the emporium-collection™ websites. If you voluntarily provide personal data as part of such registration, it will be used to pre-fill the personal details form upon making a booking, and/or be used to provide you with more refined topics in our communications, should you have opted into any of our newsletters. 4. Auto Login
You may choose to stay logged in on our emporium-collection™ websites. We will then will store your login information in a cookie, i.e. a small text file, on your computer so that you do not have to authenticate upon return to our websites but will be automatically logged in ("auto login"). 5. Accommodation Contract And Payment
If you make a booking through emporium-collection™ reservation system the accommodation contract comes into effect between you and the hotel of your choice. You pay the confirmed price directly to the hotel. Any claims and obligations out of the accommodation contract only exist between you and the hotel chosen by you. emporium-collection™ does not enter into the contract with you about the accommodation. Rates available and any booking made via the emporium-collection™ reservation system can’t be combined with other offers or promotions. Bookings take place according to the best and currently lowest emporium-collection™ day price in each case. This price is submitted directly by the hotel for the arrival date chosen and is shown in the name of the hotel. Available emporium-collection™ last-minute, seasonal, weekend or special prices will be considered automatically during the booking.
If you want to make a booking after your availability search, you will have to fill in personal details about you and your credit card details. The credit card details are required to guarantee your booking, the charges will be made by the hotel. If you are logged in to your account the personal details will be pre-filled. By clicking the button “CONFIRM REGISTRATION". Charged upon arrival” you make a binding offer to book the selected room. Prior to making the booking, i.e. prior to clicking the button, you can identify any errors in the data you have provided directly on the website and correct them by clicking “edit” next to the hotel and room description.
