In the heart of the Delta, on the edge of a
waterway, you’ll find Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge. Situated on a
diverse, wildlife-rich, private concession, Sandibe has exclusive
traversing rights over a vast 22,500 hectares (55,600 acres) of wildlife
land bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.
The inspired organic
design of the lodge melts into the surrounding forest canopy of wild
palms and gnarled fig trees. Trees will shade you as you approach the
lodge; an intriguing curl and sweep of shingled wood comes into view,
resembling a giant scaled pangolin at rest. Stairs open onto the high
ceilings of the copper-toned and glassless guest area overlooking the
Delta. From this central dining area, the wooden deck stretches beyond
the roof, while the upstairs bar and lounge extend along an elevated
walkway to a viewing platform.
A series of decks descend to the
forest floor culminating in a log boma, with a small gym and private
massage sala close by. Interior finishes throughout showcase the
craftsmanship of Botswana’s artisans, and feature intricate basketware,
sculpted wooden tables and unique feature pieces. While the main guest
area is set within the forest, the twelve guest suites peep out from
beneath its canopy. Raised above the papyrus-lined banks like golden

If you make a booking through emporium-collection™ reservation system the accommodation contract comes into effect between you and the hotel of your choice. You pay the confirmed price directly to the hotel. Any claims and obligations out of the accommodation contract only exist between you and the hotel chosen by you. emporium-collection™ does not enter into the contract with you about the accommodation. Rates available and any booking made via the emporium-collection™ reservation system can’t be combined with other offers or promotions. Bookings take place according to the best and currently lowest emporium-collection™ day price in each case. This price is submitted directly by the hotel for the arrival date chosen and is shown in the name of the hotel. Available emporium-collection™ last-minute, seasonal, weekend or special prices will be considered automatically during the booking.
If you want to make a booking after your availability search, you will have to fill in personal details about you and your credit card details. The credit card details are required to guarantee your booking, the charges will be made by the hotel. If you are logged in to your account the personal details will be pre-filled. By clicking the button “CONFIRM REGISTRATION". Charged upon arrival” you make a binding offer to book the selected room. Prior to making the booking, i.e. prior to clicking the button, you can identify any errors in the data you have provided directly on the website and correct them by clicking “edit” next to the hotel and room description. Booking Process:
Personal Details: After selecting your room, you will need to provide your personal and credit card details to guarantee your booking.
Payment: The charges will be made by the hotel upon your arrival.
Confirmation: By clicking the “Confirm Registration. Charged upon arrival” button, you make a binding offer to book the selected room. Your booking offer will be forwarded to the hotel, and the hotel's confirmation will be sent to you via Emporium-Collection. Upon receiving this confirmation, your booking becomes binding.
Cancellation Policy:
Legal Right: You do not have a statutory right of withdrawal from a booking as per Sec. 312 g para 2 no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
Hotel Policies: Any voluntary cancellation or change policies offered by the hotel will be displayed during the booking process. Changes or cancellations must be handled through Emporium-Collection’s system to be effective.
2. Payment to Emporium-Collection
For certain bookings where the accommodation contract is between you and Emporium-Collection:
Accommodation Contract:
The accommodation contract is established directly between you and Emporium-Collection.
You will pay the confirmed price to Emporium-Collection at the time of booking.
Emporium-Collection is responsible for handling the payment and any related claims and obligations.
Booking Process:
Personal Details: After selecting your room, you will need to provide your personal and credit card details for payment processing.
Payment: Charges will be made immediately by Emporium-Collection upon booking.
